A new achievement in Lea Ceramiche’s journey of excellence: the Masterpiece collection by Ferruccio Laviani is the winner in the Finishes category of the 2021 Archiproducts Design Awards, an initiative that, since 2016, has celebrated the best products in international design, serving as an important tribute to creativity, research, and innovation. Conceived to inspire endless design stories, Masterpiece won over the jury with its concept and design, also earning a special mention for sustainability from a panel of professionals and expert designers specialised in eco-design.

A vibrant and sophisticated collection that is rich in nuances, Masterpiece is a radical innovation created from the union and separation of two remarkable surfaces: cement and seminato. This line of porcelain stoneware comprises ten colours which are subdivided into two different surfaces, Master (inspired by cement) and Piece (inspired by seminato), which can be freely combined, but also exist separately. A concept that gives free rein to the creativity of architects and interior designers, Masterpiece was designed as an architectural surface for both interiors and exteriors. In addition to having its own personality, it can also be combined with materials and finishes from other Lea Ceramiche collections, giving each project its own original identity. Furthermore, the collection offers a wide range of modular formats (from the 30x60 cm to the imposing 120x120 cm) and is resistant, practical, long-lasting, as well as safe, thanks to the integrated Protect® antimicrobial technology, which eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria.

Masterpiece met with the enthusiastic approval of the Archiproducts Design Awards jury, narrating the rich and vibrant story of paired surfaces, in the name of sophisticated design that is capable of incorporating multiple combinations, and once again, affirming Lea Ceramiche’s ability to innovate and offer highly sophisticated and original collections.
