Mimesi stems from a precise idea: observing nature does not mean replicating it, but understanding it and transforming it through design. A French limestone becomes the starting point for a system in which surface processing modifies light, depth and tactility without altering the identity of the stone. Subtle fossils, delicate veining and a compact sandy background create an essential, architectural language.
Three families, many identities
Ivory Stone, Beige Stone and Gray Stone are three colour families that take on different expressions through distinct surface finishes. Natural conveys the balanced character of limestone; Brushed enhances its chromatic depth with a luminous, silky appearance; Grain interprets the sandblasted finish with a brighter, more tactile character, also suitable for outdoor applications.
The system is available in three thicknesses: 6 mm Slimtech, 9 mm and 20 mm porcelain stoneware, with sizes extending up to the large 120x278 cm slab. The 60x120 cm size connects the different expressions of the collection, while in the 20 mm thickness, the Hammered finish meets more technical requirements. The three-dimensional Twill decoration extends the project to wall coverings.
Surface finishing becomes a language
In Mimesi, every surface originates from the same material, yet reveals a different quality. Light flows across it, reflects from it or is absorbed; the bas-relief highlights its structure; perception changes with each interaction. An approach that goes beyond a simple stone effect, transforming surface finishing into a tool for defining atmosphere, function and design continuity.
