Montecarlo (MC)
Project
Pierre-Yves Rochon

Set on a dream peninsula, the Montecarlo Bay Hotel & Resort harks back to the legendary spirit and splendour of the 1930s; chic and elegant, refined and comfortable. The project of the Monegasque architect Louis Rué and the “L’Atelier d’Art Urbain” studio of Brussels and realised by the Iori & Giraldi architects’ studio was to develop an L-shaped hotel with three towers, keeping in mind the ideal orientation of the exposures to the sea. The interior architecture by Pierre-Yves Rochon comes close to a contemporary style and new trends delicately modelled in the colours of southern Italy. In contrast with the external style, the interior style plays with the volumes of space and perspectives. The atmosphere created is unique; warm, contemporary and timeless. For this reason the Stonehenge collection in the colour Savannah was chosen by Lea Ceramiche for the flooring of the entire night zone of the hotel.
