For the renovation of the FIMA Lab offices within Facility 2 of FIMA Carlo Frattini, the Italian tapware manufacturer chose the quality and aesthetic innovation of Lea Ceramiche for the flooring.

Designed by Federico Florindo, the project stands out for its use of solutions that seamlessly combine functionality and formal elegance, with special focus on the choice of materials. The collaboration with Lea Ceramiche proved strategic, not only due to the outstanding technical performance of its products, but also for their aesthetic harmony with FIMA’s contemporary and distinctive brand identity.

The Side Stone collection in the 60x60 cm format and in the colours Cluster Mid and Cluster Light were chosen to cover a total surface area of 1,071 m².

Inspired by Ceppo di Gré, the iconic Lombard stone that characterised much of 20th century Milanese architecture, Side Stone offers a sophisticated and contemporary interpretation, ideal for spaces that require both elegance and solidity.

The surfaces were installed partly using traditional methods and partly with a floating system, a solution that Lea Ceramiche considers ideal for executive offices and commercial spaces. The raised floor makes it possible to create a continuous technical cavity beneath the walking surface, perfect for housing and organising electrical cables, systems, pipes, and wiring, and facilitating inspections and maintenance, while also offering the utmost freedom in furniture arrangement.

The collaboration with Lea Ceramiche made it possible to achieve a result that met FIMA Carlo Frattini’s high quality standards: an elegant, technological, and functional environment in which every detail contributes to creating a modern and representative workspace.
