Hotel Milla Montis

A new hotel conceived as an integral part of the surrounding landscape and developed in constant dialogue with its natural setting: this is Milla Montis, located in a small Alpine village in South Tyrol.

Designed by Peter Pichler Architecture, Hotel Milla Montis stands out for its refined, contemporary design, perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape. Its modern architecture is composed of four staggered volumes, characterised by black larch cladding and large curved openings in the façades that create a strong relationship between interior and exterior, architecture and nature.

In keeping with the design concept, materials throughout the hotel were selected for their aesthetic quality and performance. For the surfaces, for example, the Waterfall collection by Lea Ceramiche was chosen, a ceramic product that realistically reinterprets natural slate. In the Dark Flow colour, Waterfall covers the surfaces of bathrooms and Spa areas, bringing a natural and elegant character to the interiors; resistant and easy to clean, it also features Protect^® antibacterial protection, helping to ensure high standards of hygiene. In the version with a 20 mm thickness, which offers greater strength and resistance, it is used in the outdoor areas, integrating seamlessly with the formal language of the interiors and maintaining continuity with the building’s essential, minimalist style.
